Dancing Across Cultures – Session 3A

Grades 3-8

January 19 – February 26
Mondays and Wednesdays | 4-5 p.m.

Led by Dance Teaching Artist Fellow Winter Bosanko

This class is an introduction to various dance styles where students will begin to discover the origins, pioneers and basics of different world dance techniques. Each week students will be introduced to a new dance style to investigate and embody. Students should wear comfortable and appropriate attire that allows for full range of motion and will need a small open space to safely explore movement. Space should be ample enough for students to fully extend their arms and legs. Pre-recorded content and assignments will be posted each week in Google Classroom. Live classes will take place on Zoom every Monday and Wednesday from 4-5 p.m.

CAP will provide all supplies needed for this course.
