Wednesdays | 4-5 p.m.
Led by Art Therapy Fellow Devon Schlegel, MA, ATR-BC, LMHC, LPC
This strengths-based program will focus on exploring what it means to be a young woman today. Students will process various themes surrounding what it means to be a strong woman through artmaking, written and visual journaling, and mindfulness, and culminating in a final canvas painting. This program is most appropriate for middle school girls willing to engage in verbal processing groups with their peers. Pre-recorded content and assignments will be posted each week in Google Classroom. Live classes will take place on Zoom every Wednesday from 4-5 p.m.
CAP will provide most supplies needed for this course. Families should have a pair of scissors and paper available at home.
