Puppet Theatre and Prop Making – Session 3A

Grades 3-5

January 19 – February 26
Tuesdays | 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Prerequisites | Currently enrolled in or already completed any theatre course

Students will learn about puppetry arts from around the world and flex their creative muscles by creating their own puppets and stage props. Students will learn what it takes to be a properties master by designing and creating their own props, constructing their own shadow puppet theatre and unleashing the power of storytelling in their own performance! Pre-recorded content and assignments will be posted each week in Google Classroom. Live classes will take place on Zoom every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Students are also able to schedule meetings with Ms. Katie for additional help on Fridays.

This class requires the use of hot glue guns, scissors and/or a craft blade.

CAP will provide most supplies needed for this course. Families will need to provide a hot glue gun (with glue sticks) or craft glue and scissors.
