CAP Creative Quest Summer Camp at Julington Creek Plantation

Campers must be residents or members of Julington Creek Plantation in order to register and attend.
Sessions Provided for Ages 6 – 8 and 9-12
CAP Creative Quest is a weeklong summer camp offering 6–12-year-olds the opportunity to explore the arts in a fun and engaging environment — right in your own backyard at Julington Creek Plantation Club Recreation Center!
Campers of all experience levels will enjoy a week of visual art, music, theatre, dance and STEAM activities, designed to spark creativity and self-expression and led by qualified CAP teaching artists. These short-term, high-quality learning opportunities help prevent summer learning loss and reinforce skills like creative thinking, perseverance and self-discipline that help children succeed throughout life.

Jackie Peterson
Dance Teaching Artist
Jacqueline (Jackie) Peterson is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She is a graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and holds a degree in Dance Education from Jacksonville University and a Fine Arts Degree from Florida State College of Jacksonville. She has been teaching dance for over 20 years to all ages and all styles. She is now teaching dance to elementary and middle school students in Duval County Public Schools. Jackie joined the CAP team in 2013.
