Grades 3-5
CAP String Foundations at HAB
Led by Romona Merritt
In-Person
Calling all young music-makers! Join the CAP String Foundations program and discover the joy of playing violin, viola or cello in a fun, friendly group setting. Beginners with little to no experience will learn basic instrument care and playing techniques, such as strumming and plucking. As they progress, they’ll unlock the secrets of the bow and dive into music theory, opening a whole new world of musical possibilities. Students will enjoy an exciting journey of musical discovery!
No experience? No problem! This class is perfect for curious kids who want to try something new and make music with friends. Each week is filled with hands-on learning, musical games and plenty of laughter. By the end of the session, students will feel proud of their progress and ready to share their music with the community!
Students may bring their own instruments, or rentals are available for an additional fee.
