Dance FUNdamentals 1 at Crown Point
Led by Jackie Peterson
Students must be enrolled at Crown Point Elementary School to register for this course.
Students will learn the basic elements of dance and explore the fundamentals of different styles including ballet, hip hop, jazz and modern dance. They will engage in creative problem-solving, connect with others and have fun learning the history of these dance forms, their pioneers, and current artists. Students will explore and create choreography within each style as they strengthen their bodies and brains through guided movement explorations focused on different dance styles.
In-person courses will follow the DCPS schedule for holidays and school closures.
