Young thespians will dive into the exciting world of theatre arts in this dynamic program! This high-energy program explores movement, acting, singing and dancing with fun activities, making students masters of storytelling. No experience needed – imagination and enthusiasm are all young thespians need to make creativity come to life in this program.
Community performances will be held in December and at the end of the school year.
In-person courses will follow the school’s schedule for holidays and school closures.

Delores Barr Weaver Teaching Artist Fellow in Theatre
Christian provides arts integration and afterschool theatre instruction at Highlands Estates Academy throughout the year. He holds a master’s in theatre for young audiences and has worked with organizations such as Orlando Family Stage and Central Florida Community Arts, teaching creative drama and directing productions for people of all ages. Christian is passionate about inclusive and collaborative theatre education, working with elementary-aged students and those with varying abilities. He spent many of his formative years in music and theatre classes and credits those educators for inspiring him to pursue a career in the arts. He has always believed in the power of theatre to bring communities together and its ability to teach empathy, teamwork and compassion. Christian joined the CAP team in 2024.
