Young people of all abilities who have the opportunity to learn through the arts develop skills necessary for confidence, socialization, emotional regulation and improved academics.

Join us in celebrating the positive impact of the arts on students of all abilities this month and beyond. 🎉 #TheArtsAddUp #CAPkidsjax #Artsed

Dance is more than movement, it’s a spark for growth, confidence and connection. Research from the National Institutes of Health shows that group dance helps young people develop the five C’s: Creativity, Critical Thinking, Confidence, Collaboration and Communication.

When students come together to dance, they’re not just learning steps, they are building friendships, strengthening their well-being and discovering their voices. 🩰✨

No matter which art form your child chooses, whether it`s music, visual arts, theatre or dance, they’re building valuable life skills like creative thinking, confidence and collaboration that stay with them for life.

Beyond these benefits, the arts offer something truly special: the pure joy and fulfillment that comes from learning how to do something you didn`t know you could do. There’s nothing quite like watching a child’s face light up with pride as they achieve something they never thought possible. ✨
