Students must be enrolled at Eagle’s View Academy and in grades 3 – 6 to register for this course.
Get ready to dive deep into the world of talented art-making! CAP Creative Studio is designed for dedicated young artists ready to explore advanced techniques across multiple media. In this comprehensive Cathedral Arts Project program, your student will master painting, sculpture, fabric arts, mixed media, and cutting-edge artistic techniques through challenging and rewarding projects.
Our experienced Teaching Artist Fellow will guide your young artist as they build advanced skills, develop their personal artistic style, and create portfolio-quality work. Through extended studio sessions, professional techniques, and meaningful artistic exploration, students will discover their artistic potential while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and advanced creative expression.
This year-long adventure follows your school’s schedule for holidays and closures and runs for 24 weeks, providing extensive time to develop mastery and create exhibition-quality artwork.

Petway Teaching Artist Fellow in Visual Arts
Ashlee provides visual arts instruction at multiple schools and community sites throughout the year. In addition to leading students in the classroom, she is also responsible for planning and supervising class field trips, guest artist visits and exhibition opportunities at CAP sites and throughout the Jacksonville community. Ashlee grew up participating in the performing arts, eventually finding her way to visual arts in high school and earning a college degree in arts education and visual arts.
