The CAP Dance Ensemble is a dynamic program where both CAP and non-CAP dancers can pursue their passion across diverse dance styles while honing their technical abilities.
It comprises current and former CAP dance students in grades 4-8. Students chosen for the ensemble have the opportunity to further their understanding of classical and contemporary dance through collaboration and performance.

Through rigorous training and performance opportunities, dancers develop their artistic character and stage presence. Collaboration with guest artists for specialized workshops and choreography enriches the dancers’ artistic growth and opens doors of opportunity to local and national dance competitions and performances. Comprehensive preparation for auditions, access to intensive programs and broad skill development open pathways toward professional dance careers for those who seek it.

Rehearsals will be held on the first and fourth Saturdays, excluding holidays.

Those who enroll in the dance ensemble are expected to participate for the entire year.

CAP has partnered with Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church for this program. Classes will be held at 4001 Hendricks Avenue, 32207.
