Joshua Stone
Teaching Artist Fellow in Strings
Joshua provides string instruction at multiple schools and sites throughout the year. In addition to teaching string courses, he provides administrative support to the Program Team and leads the CAP String Orchestra. Joshua began playing violin in middle school and has performed and participated in masterclasses with many of today’s leading artists and ensembles. His goal is to offer all children equal opportunities to play string instruments, no matter their background or location. Joshua joined the CAP team as a part-time teaching artist in 2013 and became the first full-time string teaching artist fellow in 2019.
