Grades 3-5
CAP Studio Artists: Summer Sessions
Led by CAP Teaching Artist Fellows
In-Person
This summer’s sessions are one week-long from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., for rising 3rd through 5th graders. Each session includes a themed approach to developing the foundations of drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media.
Session 1 | Young Naturalists
Does your student love art and nature? Why not combine the two with this summer camp session! Together, students will learn about the vibrant historical relationship between art and naturalism, incorporate natural materials in projects and practice techniques like specimen drawing and plein air painting.
Session 2 | CAP Passport: Art Around the World
Send your student on a summer adventure around the world in this camp! Together, students will create art projects inspired by cultural art forms from around the world in various mediums, including paint, clay and textiles. Sign up today – no passport required!
Students are required to bring a prepacked lunch each day.
