CAPSO Strings Camp: Summer Musical

In this week-long camp, CAPSO students will once again have the opportunity to collaborate with the CAP Theatre Company on a summer musical experience, providing musical accompaniment for a special performance. Students will be immersed in the rehearsal process and work together to provide musical accompaniment for the theatrical performances.
Performance dates:
Friday, June 12 at 4 p.m.
Saturday, June 13 at 2 p.m.
This program will be held at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church: 4001 Hendricks Avenue, 32207
*Camp fees are non-refundable.
Joshua Stone
String Teaching Artist Fellow
Joshua provides string instruction at multiple schools and sites throughout the year. In addition to teaching string courses, he provides administrative support to the Program Team and leads the CAP String Orchestra. Joshua began playing violin in middle school and has performed and participated in masterclasses with many of today’s leading artists and ensembles. His goal is to offer all children equal opportunities to play string instruments, no matter their background or location. Joshua joined the CAP team in 2012 as a part-time teaching artist, and then as the first full-time string teaching artist fellow in 2019.
