Music at Cornerstone Classical
Led by Sarah Morrell
In-Person
Students must be enrolled at Cornerstone Classical Academy to register for this course. This music course introduces students to various rhythm instruments, including Boomwhackers, Orff instruments, drums, pipe stomp, cups and more. Students will internalize music concepts through collaboration in an ensemble. They will be immersed in the language of music while learning and experiencing through instruments and movement.
In-person courses will follow the school’s schedule for holidays and school closures.

Sarah Morrell
Music Teaching Artist
Sarah Morrell began her music studies in elementary school, including violin, cello, voice and piano. She continued her music studies at Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where she earned her Bachelor of Music Education. Sarah is certified to teach music for grades K-12 and has given private piano lessons for 36 years. She has led children, youth and adult choirs, directed numerous musical productions, and led children’s music camps for more than 16 years. Sarah has worked at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts since 2013 and was named Adjunct Teacher of the Year in 2020-2021. She joined the CAP team in 2023.
