Visual Arts at Beauclerc

In-Person
Students must be enrolled at Beauclerc Elementary School to register for this course. This course introduces students to the elements of art and principles of design, which are the building blocks of creating a work of art. At the same time, students are introduced to various media and production skills and are encouraged to think critically and creatively. Students will work individually and collaboratively.
In-person courses will follow the DCPS schedule for holidays and school closures.
This afterschool program is supported by the Kids Hope Alliance.

Visual Arts Teaching Artist
Stephanie Corley holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from California State University. After earning her degree, she returned to Jacksonville to pursue a career as an educator, working as a visual arts teacher for Duval County Public Schools. Stephanie has a wide range of teaching experience, including everything from pre-kindergarten to high school. She is an active painting instructor and loves hosting paint night events for her community. She joined the CAP team as a part-time teaching artist in 2023.
