Grades 3-5
Visual Arts at Springfield Middle
Led by Priscilla Allen
In-Person
Students must be enrolled at Springfield Middle School to register for this course.
This course will provide students with context for the elements of art and principles of design – just some of the ingredients that bring artwork to life. Students will explore a variety of artistic media while flexing their critical thinking and creative muscles. Inner artists will be unleashed through solo work and as part of a creative team! Students interested in portfolio development for future submission opportunities are highly encouraged to participate.
In-person courses will follow the DCPS schedule for holidays and school closures.

Priscilla was creating from the time she could use her hands. Her visual arts experience is vast with a formal education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. From subject turned student and then collector, photography holds a special place in her heart.
