Over 400 local military families enjoyed a beautiful day at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens this past Saturday, to celebrate the Month of the Military Child. We are grateful for our partnership with @jaxbsf, who provides CAP with an opportunity to honor the unique strength, resilience and sacrifice of military children, including those whose loved ones are currently deployed.
A special thanks to @raulariasjacksonville, Jacksonville City Councilman-District 11, for showing up in support of our local military families. Families also connected with the @cityofjax Military Affairs and Veterans Department to learn about their support services.
