CAP Studio Artists
Do you have a child who’s ready to take their art to the next level?
CAP Studio Artists is an exciting new program that allows CAP students to pursue their passion for the visual arts while expanding their creative skills. Dedicated students immerse themselves in the artistic process and push their creative boundaries while exploring a variety of mediums, techniques and styles to develop their unique artistic voice and portfolio.
Under the guidance of CAP’s Teaching Artist Fellows, students will:
- be introduced to age-appropriate art vocabulary,
- explore guided practice in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media,
- and discuss context for important art movements and cultural influences.
Through this intensive program, students gain confidence and experience through public exhibitions, portfolio development and access to intensive opportunities, creating pathways for continued artistic growth and, for those who aspire, future studies and careers in the visual arts.
