2020 Showcase of the Arts
Out of an abundance of caution and with the wellbeing of our community in mind, the Cathedral Arts Project has made the decision to cancel the Performing Arts Showcase on April 25 and Visual Arts Showcase on May 9.
Our students, families, teaching artists and community are at the heart of all decision making for CAP. The driving force of our programs is the belief that the arts matter – that they provide essential skills like perseverance and teamwork that can benefit us all now more than ever.
As we continue to navigate this ever-changing situation, we are first and foremost attempting to lessen the impact on our students and their families who will be most affected by these changes. We appreciate your flexibility, attention and vigilance as we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our community.
Performing Arts Showcase
The Performing Arts Showcase is the highlight of the year for our performing arts students, teachers and parents. The Cathedral Arts Project student performances include theatre, ballet, hip hop, strings, percussion, chorus and much more! Each program is so unique and provides a special opportunity for the students to perform for their families and friends.
Visual Arts Showcase
The annual Visual Arts Showcase is an extraordinary display of artwork by our students. The opportunity to exhibit serves as a reward for students’ hard work and reinforces the self-confidence and maturity fostered in CAP classes. The young artists are proud to share their work which spans a variety of artistic media.
